In pursuit of Purity

1Timothy 5:2  The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.

You see it in small children and sometimes in the faces of old people, that quality of pureness that we wish for. Purity or holiness has been sought for over the centuries by sages, monks, hermits and the common man. People go into the wilderness to try to find it. As elusive as it is many people of every class, race or religion still seek it.
Matthew 5:6  Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
According to the Bible holiness is found in the Person of Jesus Christ. As believers we are indwelt by the Holy Spirit. When we walk in the Spirit we express that purity of Jesus. Often it is at times that we do not realize it, like when Moses' face glowed when he came down from the mountain.

Galatians 5:16  This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
